ArcelorMittal Mines Canada runs the largest open-pit iron ore mine in the country — 25M tonnes of concentrate a year. I led the team that built their internal platform for managing equipment, shifts, and field operations. Shipped from Brazil, fully remote.

ArcelorMittal's Mont-Wright mine covers 24km² and supplies over 30% of the group's global iron ore. The operations team was tracking equipment, shifts, and crew assignments manually — a slow process touching 50K+ data points per day. I led development of a web platform that automated the entire pipeline: real-time data ingestion from facility systems, automated merging of virtual models with physical sensor readings, and a unified operations dashboard for equipment and workforce management. Delivered from Brazil as part of a fully remote international team, coordinating daily with Canadian stakeholders.
